Synopsis
A Wednesday (2008) is an Indian thriller film written and directed by Neeraj Pandey in his directorial debut. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala under UTV Motion Pictures, the movie was released on 5 September 2008. Starring Naseeruddin Shah, Anupam Kher, Jimmy Sheirgill, and Aamir Bashir, the film explores themes of vigilantism, terrorism, and justice in modern India.
Set in Mumbai, the film unfolds in real time over one tense afternoon. It tells the story of a mysterious, ordinary man who plants bombs across the city and demands the release of four dangerous terrorists. What follows is a gripping cat-and-mouse game between the common man and the system.
